3 PC's, one monitor mouse, and keyboard. I could live with 2 connections. There are a million of these out there, I want it to be a cheap one if possible.

I had the two port version for a few years (don't need it anymore), and I never had an issue with it.
Not sure if this would work for you (but it is free), could you use Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to connect to each machine from one main PC? In that case, all you would need is a network switch that each pC is plugged in to, and enable RDP on all machines, and then connect to each from the main PC that is hooked up to the Mouse, Keybd, and monitor.

If you had multiple monitors, Synergy would be a nice solution.
I want less monitors than I have though. I just ordered a nice big Samsung, one monitor to replace them all basically.
Can't afford a 27", but I love my 19" widescreen Sammy.
