Best Coffee in the World

Starbucks burns their beans. For some reason, people like that flavor.

I consider myself a pro on coffee, and here are my top choices:

San Juan Coffee Roasting in Friday Harbor: http://www.rockisland.com/~sjcoffee/
Olympic Crest Coffee in Lacey: http://www.olycrest.com/
Cutters Point in Gig Harbor/Tacoma/Lacey: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I think it would be cool to set up a coffee exchange. I would particpate.

I love coffee as well. I usually buy different kinds here and there, whatever looks good. When I can find it I like to buy "The Organic Coffee Co." brand coffee. I also cannot stand that stuff that Starbuck's calls coffee.

Hawaiian Kola

QUOTE]

dude ya sure that's coffee?

:D

I believe he means Hawaiian Kona. Hawaiian Kona coffee beans are grown only in the Kona area of the Big Island of Hawaii. They are extremely expensive and exquisitely delicious. One problem--it is hard to find them in pure Kona and not in a blend usually with Colombian beans because the cost of pure Kona is nearly prohibitive. If you ever can ahve a chance to taste pure Kona coffee, do give it a try.

Check out the WWW.CMBREW.COM site for 'exotic' coffee(s) for rather discriminating tastes--> Great prices as well.
There's no new need to 'Starbuck'(Dark Roast) every coffee bean in existence....different roasts for different beans.
Also, I'd rather not pollute or corrupt the taste of coffee with sugar....just a small touch of Half & Half.

Coffee Nut. ;)

Much as I love the Pacific Northwest, and many of the coffee roasters and espresso joints here, these guys from Philly are the best I've yet encountered in the continental US. The La Colombe coffee house I went to in downtown Philly a few months ago was really cool as far as ambiance too.

Craven's organic is my favorite for home brewed espresso. Kona is great for drip coffee, but you gotta get it in Hawaii, on general principles.
