I myself like contrast. Light colored bodies with rosewood, darker bodies with maple.

but

Fit , finish and playability can sway me otherwise.

With that being said , the blue isn’t light enough for maple , the white I like rosewood, so I’m rosewood for both , and I like the white the most, with rosewood

White with rosewood and tort guard.
Black with rosewood and tort guard.

I can only keep one of these, so I'm trying to decide which combination of body and neck to keep. I like them all, so I need help. Pretending for a moment that all other factors are equal, which color combination do you prefer?

Blue maple without a doubt.

White is generic. Might as well has BASS in big black block letters on it.

Based on what I see in the pics:

Blue with rosewood

White with maple

Keep them both. If I had to choose, I really don’t know. Probably white with maple, but I’d want to see a black guard on it.

If I can't have some cool color with a matching headstock (and I usually can't . . . ), I prefer to go OG traditional:

The yellow-red-brown sunburst, tort (My God, I actually SAID that . . . ), a vintage-yellowed neck with a rosewood board.

For my P I went with white and rosewood with knurled metal knobs and black pearloid pickguard.
