Best free or cheap software For pc right now

Picking up a new computer with Christmas money tomorrow. Double the power of my previous one. Don’t have much money left over so looking for good cheap or Free software. I’ll most likely stick with Reaper. I still have several disc (east west quantum leap and slate drums) for some virtual instruments which I purchased from Sweetwater for my last pc. I’ll probably pick up a new interface soon but what do you recommend for the following

1 realistic piano virtual instrument. My east west quantum leap package has some good pianos but nothing really spectacular.

2 a great reverb plug in. Plan to work on some new solo bass material. Really dig the chillstep/dream/ambient piano type of vibe and want to use that sound.

3 video editing software. Computer comes with one so I’ll see how it goes but looking for other recommendations. Doesn’t need to be anything crazy. Not making big motion pictures but decent enough for YouTube and simple to use.

For ambient spaces, it doesn't hurt to have Valhalla Shimmer ($50) in the toy box...does those long, pitch-shifted reverb tails in the same general neighborhood as some of what you hear in Strymon Big Sky demos.

Thanks guys. Went to best buy to pick up the computer and they said they were sold out, even though it said they were in stock at that location on the website so we just ordered it online. Can’t wait to check this stuff out

Check out Studio One 3.5 they have a free verson. And if you buy one of the cheap audiobox interface, you get the full Artist version with instruments, FX, loops, etc... a lot of stuff. Check out the YouTube to see what it looks like and how it functions.
