Best gig bag for around $100...............

Mine is double-handled, plenty of room, and folds-up nicely. Also emblazoned with a "Food Lion" logo...go figure.

Honestly, I use an over-sized CPAP sample bag with various & sundry zippered pockets. Check your local thrift store (DAV, CHKD, etc.)...they usually have a slew of zippered bags on-the-cheap.

Another plug for the pro-tec. I love the 2-bass bag also so when I can’t decide which bass to bring to a jam I have 2. Or for a backup. New on Amazon I think that’s a tick over 100 for the double!

Single is great too!

The Roadrunner goes on sale frequently for less than $100, comes in three different colors and provides fantastic neck support and hard side gig bag support with ample storage in the front.

I have several for bass and a couple of guitar versions that I bought for my headless basses. They’re an amazing value for the cost.

If you do a search, there’s a dedicated thread on this particular bag because it goes on sale so often.

If you’re willing to spend more than 100 bucks go for the Protec Contego, it’s a fantastic padded gig bag for about $150.

Check out Sire's gig bags. They're under budget, really sturdy, and support the neck well. They include some velcro pieces that you can move around depending on the shape of your bass to make sure it's a snug fit. I'd imagine most FSOs would fit pretty well.
