Best headstock ever?

I love an ESP/LTD or Fender headstick. But the most fairest of all is an old SX.

for me to tolerate even a mediocre headstock that better be the best bass around.
silly, but it's true.
then again, most of the great headstocks came attached to great basses.

Kramer’s aluminum neck basses had a cool headstock.

Well, I am basically a Fender/G&L guy, but the combination of straight string pull and symmetrical asymmetry on this ESP has me strangely aroused.

I've always liked Fender P and J headstocks but the Gibson T-Bird is on my list too..

Headstocks are a dealbreaker for me, too. As a piece of industrial design, I don’t think it’ll ever get better than the narrow Strat headstock.

Or the JP90 headstock, this being a bass forum.
