ibanez sr headstock all the way. it looks traditional like a violin but modern at the same time.

I found the headstock crucial to determine if I like or not the style of a bass.
I mean, body, color, hardware are also there but the headstock alone can determine the choice or tame the GAS.
I tend to prefer Fender style headstocks (including Yamaha or G&L an MM maybe) and I love when tuners are not in line but not symmetrical (3+1 or 3+2 configurations) except for the P telecaster style.
Which ones are your faves?

Well, I am basically a Fender/G&L guy, but the combination of straight string pull and symmetrical asymmetry on this ESP has me strangely aroused.

Yep. I was going to post the Teisco. (and TBird is my other favorite). I got the Eastwood TB64 clone, but they did not copy the gorgeous headstock, unfortunately.
