Best headstock ever?

I've dremeled some Wilkinson tuners into paddles. Not going to slap a Fender decal, though I will mimic the aesthetic of that one.

Going to make mine in either Surf Green or Seafoam green.

The 5 tuners in line was the reason why I sold a Squier Pro Tone V

The late seventies early eighties Ibanez Musician and Roadster colonial sign 2+2 headstocks.

And, with its big flat heart shaped tuners, the Roadster:

I bought my 1981 Roadster in London in 1998. Love it.

Funny, I was idly considering subjecting my often-abused BB3000 to project make it lighter. I do like the headstock, but I drew these today.... Slow day at work...

Looking at them again, Im not really sure of any of them. Probably not going to happen.

A forum search using the word headstock in a 'title' search reveals many, many threads on this subject. No harm done here. It seems obvious that many of us are a bit obsessed about headstock shapes. Count me in that group. Here's one of my favorite configurations. A healthy dose of nostalgia mixed with a dash of technological advancement. This pic needs to be re-posted from time to time. You know, to remind all the Fender-clone builders how they could make improvements. So they can get my business.
