Best looking jazz bass?

So did mine, it now looks like this;

I'm looking to buy my first Jazz Bass closer to Halloween...I would say the best looking Jazz Bass
is either your first one, or your next one!

Yah, it's pretty funny because the term "Jazz Bass" is usually any bass w/2 J-style pu's, which can be single (active/passive), split-coil (same), or active (EMG). The pu's just have to mostly look like 2 traditional Fender J pu's and in the usual location between the neck and the bridge (but not always…) :rolleyes:

Well, there's jazz style basses then there's jazz basses. I know, semantics but there's punk rockers from 2014 and then there's punk rockers from 1974. Y'know'msayin'.

Fender make the 'Jazz Bass' but lots of companies make jazz basses. It's a configuration, that's all. Perhaps not commercially but certainly amongst bass players. We all know what this thread is about, move on.

Fender never released an early form of sunburst they used to do on the first Strats for the Jazz. I mean the one's with no red in the burst, just the wood grain, some yellowing and the black. A laquer version of this would be huge.

Fender MP short scale Jazz Bass.
I've just seen one of these in my local store, has anyone tried one yet? I'm intrigued to see what people's opinions are, they look great with the trans white finish.

We heard from a Fender rep that they weren't coming to America until the fall. Where are you located, so that we may see them for ourselves?
