For 35" that I have owned and played I'm going with my previous Roscoes and an insane Modulus Quantum I borrowed from a friend years ago. Also Peavey Cirrus USA has a wonderful B for a 35". For 34"s Zon and Sadowsky's are great BUT a Ken Smith I briefly owned had an incredible B...my fave is my current bass of course which is a 34" as well (Fodera). Very even with all the other strings and its clarity is only rivaled by that darn Ken Smith! Honestly, if Ken Smith's weren't so dang beautiful I'd still have it. I gig all my basses anywhere and everywhere but for some reason that bass made me think twice in fear of banging it on my drummers cymbals or annoying guitar players headstock LOL!
