Ugh...Screamo

It's very easy to see the differences among them. Notice how two of said genres are tremendous pieces of music, while one is complete drivel for teenage girls who paint their fingernails black. There you go. Have a nice day!

If you're going to explain to people what genres are, at least try to pass on personal judgment and maybe take good examples. First wave screamo was pretty good, for the little I've listened of it. Nothing to do with the recent krap.

...And get over yourself thinking you've hurt my feelings. Please. You're not that important...

No worries mate. I'm well aware the apologies I make are strictly for my sake. It's to absolve me for acting an ass. Accepting that apology (or not) is up to whomever it is extended to and is of no real concern of mine since that decision is totally out of my hands.

As for your (mistaken) belief I was trying to hurt your feelings, you of all people should know I'm unable to do so. You are the only individual who can decide if your feelings have been injured. My apology was for being so out of touch with the metalhead community, not some lame attempt to assuage your ego. Get over yourself. It's not always all about you.

So you're voting Winger?

I might as well, nobody else is going to. :D

Logical gymnastics FTW.

It is obvious you are the true warrior here. I'll leave you to your inflammation.

I'm just impressed that some people take metal seriously enough to actually classify sub-categories. My first exposure to hardcore metal stuff was from some underground stuff a a guy in the dorms liked to play. That was about 1990 or so, and a head scratcher for me. But I was learning classical strings at the time, bass gamba even. Funny, after listening to some of the crazy stuff we played from orlando gibbons or william lawes, well I scratch my head over that stuff too, but I do still have my hearing.
