Turbo Tuner! Fast doesn't describe it, it feels instant. And the accuracy is perhaps too good, as the note decays a little and I see the strobe wobble I get intonation anxiety.

The Turbo Tuner is a great great unit. Super fast and accurate, customizable and very easy to read. There's even one in the Accessories classifieds forum for $95.

I think I got a year and a half out of the battery that came in mine. The thing's only powered up when the switch is engaged, so the batteries last a long time.

I don't think much more really needs to be said, but FYI I have a lot of trouble reading my PitchBlack at outdoor gigs on sunny days and also inside if I'm sitting down next to it. Standing up it's fine, though.

Think Im Leaning Twards the TU 1000 as a Replacement for the Tu 8 that has served me for many Years. i use tuner out of amp to the tuner on top of Combo Rig Mostly.It will Be Easy to See from a Distance In Dark or/and Full Sun, Power Other Pedals and Wireless

is there any real disadvantage to using a mini LED korg tuner plugged into my amp's tuner-out that's velcro'd to the side of my amp? always wondered why people bought pedals that are quite a bit more expensive or rackmounts that are huge.
