Best place for pick guards?

Where's the best place to get pick guards? I'd like a Black Pearl or Abalone for my Sterling.

I always get my pickguards from Jeannie, he will probably ask you to send the pcikguard for perfect cut and fit, he has a great selection of pearls. http://home.comcast.net/~pickguards/

I too was going to mention WD Music. I have had great success there on multiple occasions. I've also seen them slammed by some TBers who were unhappy with their experience. Again, only positive for me.

Here's a not-so-great picture of a Pickguardian guard on my '65 Precision. I slightly reliced it with 0000 steel wool to match the wear on the bass.

I usually get blank sheets from Warmoth and cut them myself. A lot cheaper, especially considering my last two were violet and blue pearl for a Squier Jaguar.

Yeah, that was me on the " WD Music ripped me off" thread - they charged me $10 more than their advertised price on one PG, and screwed up the other one... They never did give me back the $10 they overcharged me, and refused to make a replacement for the one they screwed up - they only refunded me for that one, and return freight...

I made the offer to them that I would post that they had resolved everything to my satisfaction, if they would refund the $10 overcharge, and make a proper replacement of the PG they screwed up - and they flat out refused that offer... Also, I didn't say anything at the time, but they also overcharged me for 40 PH screws, over half of which were of really crappy quality...

I would not recommend buying from WD Music - they're a crappy company... Here's an example of the "quality" of product they shipped out:

On what color bass did you put your vintage white pearl? Mine is black. I'm debating between black pearl, abalone, possibly tirimisu... but like the vintage white pearl too. Black pearl would blend the most. Tirimisu would stand out the most. Hmm...
