Best Small All-Valve Amp?

Well, I've taken alot of time researching what you guys have provided and while all are quite good, most are seriously out of my price range. I thought I might be able to spend 400-500 on a decent amp but most of these run 2-3x as much.

jtb:Thanks for the links -The 65Amps are awesome but very expensive.

When you're playing through valve amps does it really matter if they're guitar or bass specific? I noticed the Marshall Supper Lead / Bass are basically the same. I guess with the propoer EQing you could probably get by. Even the Ceriatone / Weber kits are up there! Wow.

You just have to wait for the deal to come along ....and be able to haggle and have cash in hand

You almost had me making a commitment on the Orange Terror but that's a hybrid amp. Looing for an all valve - thanks again. Starting the search for the Epi and Traynors.

The bass terror is a hybrid. The tiny terror and the dual terror are tube amps which meet your criteria, but they're pretty low wattage (15 and 30) and will probably break up pretty early. If you're looking for giggable, I doubt the terrors are what you want, but if you're looking for practice/jam volume, then there is potential.

Several amp heads come to mind;
1. Fender Bassman 50 - 50 watts
2. Fender Bassman 70 - 70 watts
3. Fender Bassman 100 - 100 watts
4. Traynor YBA-1 - 50 watts
5. Traynor YBA-1A - 90 watts

6. Ampeg V4-B - 100 watts
7. Ampeg B-25B - 50 - watts
8. Sunn 200S - 50 watts
9. Sunn 2000S - I think it's a 100 watts
10. Traynor YBA-3 - 100 watts
11. Ampeg V4BH - 100 watts
I have one of each of the Traynors, spectacular, and very reasonable.
