Best strings for Fender Roscoe Beck 5

Probably Fender 7250-5M

When I bought my Fender Ultra P it had 7250's installed. Planed on changing but Bass sounded great as is.
Kept them on 9 months then changed to Markbass Ultimate (2.5 times price]

If all I could ever use is 7250's I would be fine with it.

After trying all kinds of strings, I have settled on T.I. Jazz Rounds for my Roscoe Beck 5. The upfront cost is steep, but as I get 5 or more years out the T.I.s, with them maintaining precise intonation, and having a great balance of harmonic overtones for my purposes, the cost amortized over the life of the strings makes them one of the most cost effective.
