Dont remember the name but those with exposed cores have a piano like sounding with lot of harmonics

Best strings for harmonics

I only have rounds on one of my basses (TI Jazz Rounds on a Gretsch Broadkaster), and frankly? It isn't a bass that you'd expect harmonics from. The only bass I have, that is noticeably "harmonic" is my Alembic Epic - which wears TI Jazz Flats. To tell the truth? For most of the music I play, harmonics aren't much of a thing; so I've never payed a lot of attention to it. But, maybe I should - just out of curiosity...
