Best strings for Precision bass if you are selling it.

Relatively new, but nicely broken-in NPS rounds.
EDIT: I should also add the bass should be properly set up for neck relief (truss rod), action (saddle height) and intonation for a comfortable but buzz-free operation.

Best ones? I'd say; install that set of whatevers you've had taking up valuable space in your Stash O' Strings (you know; the "why on EARTH do I have these?" strings that you know you'll never use) on it, and kill 2 birds with one stone. I have several sets like that in my stash...
As long as the strings aren't totally dead and gone I'd say don't really worry about it. Everyone who buys it will just put it her own set of whatever they like on there. Now if you do have a pack of strings you'd like to get rid of I'd just keep them to the side and send them with the bass. if the buyer wants new strings but isn't sure what kind then you have a set right there to try.

If you put rounds on your bass, a potential buyer will say, "I wish it had flats." If you put flats on bass, a potential buyer will say, "I wish it had rounds."
Or "they" will complain about the gauge or nickel vs stainless.
So as GTHintz stated............"Everyone who buys it will just put it her own set of whatever they like on there."
That's why I've never sold a bass and put strings on it. I have sent a fresh pack in the case for the buyer before. Everyone likes their own setup so I don't even play with it.
