I found that out the hard way. I stripped the gear in a tuner (Squier 70s CV Jazz V)Fender... not so much. They are a nightmare to deal with
and wonder to myself just how much those imports are taking a bite out of the sales of their U.S. builds. A couple years ago, I had both a Tribute and also an American M-2000 at home for a while. Both were very good and I ultimately didn't hold on to either one, but the Tribute stayed with me for many extra months until I sold it to my guitar pal.Thank you, seems you have an understanding of what you are talking about.
