I have a 96 Streamer LX 4 string and 2006 Thumb NT. I love the Thumb but the neck took a bit getting used to.
The all Wenge neck on the Streamer is class. It has more of that Warwick growl that we all love so much.
I don't tent to use the Streamer that much. I don't know whether to sell it or just keep it to use ever now an then.

1990's Thumb.
The 2nd or 3rd Thumb I ever tried was a fretless 4 string from the 90's. It had EMG's, not Bartolini's It was amazing. Someday I'll get a new Thumb, dunno if I'd put EMG's in it though...

All dirty thoughts aside, that's some nice looking wood! What do you use to get it like that?
It's a January 1989, so it's 18 years old.
I bought it from the original owner 5 years ago, and just wax it about once a month.

The stock EMG's.
It's a great match, growly as hell.
I tried others before, and soon I'll be trying a pair of passive Bartolini 9CBJS.
The only thing I never liked much was the orignal 2-way MEC electronics, which I replaced with a custom made 3 way.

I've owned tons of Thumb NT's and BO's, and Corvette Standards and $$'s. It's hard for me to say which I believe is my personal favorite. Generally, I can only answer by saying my favorite Warwick combination: Bubinga body, Ovangkol/Bubinga neck, Wenge fingerboard, EMG pickups, EMG BQC preamp, neck-through, 4-string. I guess that's almost a stock Thumb NT...mine...just add the EMGs!

Infinity NT & SN
I would have to say my absolute favorites are the Warwick Custom Shops.

But of course I can't just limit my self at those specific models
I don't think I could choose between the Thumb and Streamers.

Easy! The only Warwick I have ever liked playing was my 1997 Fortress Masterman.
Unfortunately it died last week. The circuit board is toast and needs to be sent to Germany to be fixed according to the place I bought it.
They are nice guys and gave me a full refund though (I bought it used recently). I miss the thump of that bass....

I really like standard bubinga corvettes, I also like the thumbs with the two angled pickups. Those things growl like no ones business.
