Hi,The nicest one I ever tried was a '95 Thumb through-neck 5-string (probably the punchiest, growliest bass I've ever played), closely followed by a '94 through-neck Streamer Stage I 4-string (all maple and a total slap machine). They're just not the same now they're fully mass-produced, and I HATE the necks of their bolt-ons.

How are the bolt on necks different from the neck through? I have a Bolt on Trujillo but I have no idea how the German made basses sound. I'd love to try one but there aren't any around. Are all the German made Warwick's big buck$?
