I played a used Dolphin Pro back in the late 90's iirc, that to me at the time, was the epitome of what a bass could be. The body shape was a mixed bag, but the way it hung on the body, the neck, the action, the tone....just so perfect. I didn't have the coin at the time, or it would have been mine, it was that good.
I haven't played *too* many Wicks since then, and tho they were all very nice, they didn't "speak" to me like that Dolphin did...I would very much like to try another D-Pro one day and see if I get the same reaction from it.
