My day job is basically in a 'project' based industry.
I get hired, work my ass off, then the client/boss tells me "thanks, bye!" and I am looking for the next thing.
The important thing is to leave on good terms so your are remembered as someone cool to work with.
Over time, you'll find that bands come and go, every position it temporary, and this becomes quite simple.
