Best way to run 2 basses through one amp

Radial makes a few really good solutions for this. I just got a Bassbone which would work perfectly for what you want but there are cheaper solutions. If you also need a DI with a tuner out then the Bassbone will work for what you need. I just got mine throught the classifieds here on TB so they are available for reasonable prices.
So far the Bassbone is a cheaper solution then a 2 channel amp. I would try a simple selector, but my thing is I have two different sounding basses. So I need a second EQ somewhere. Thanks for all of your inputs !!
My (single channel) Yorkville head has 2 inputs, one at 0dB, one at -6dB. I plug the passive into one and the active into the other and just make sure to pot them down before I switch. In the mix the eq doesn't seem to be as critical as it seems to be at home, so I just change basses and roll with it. I rarely play my basses with the volume or tone on ten, so small adjustments are easy and on the fly.
If all you want to do is run two basses into one amp and be able to switch between them, the VT Bass Deluxe / Radial Bassbone are overkill
A simple method would be to go with an A/B box like the EHX Switchblade

LS-2 or Carl Martin Matchbox will give you two inputs with volume control. Then just use the eq knobs on your basses, that's what they're there for.

funny... Back in the old days, amps with multiple inputs were really common - it was a "Feature" to allow more than one guy use the amp a the same time...

Well I have decided on the BassBone. If you haven't yet, check this bad boy out. Its the swiss army knife of pedals. The one feature that has me wet is the effects loop/boost. So say if you have a part in a song that you want to use two pedals at once, you can run them through the effects loop and turn them both one and off with one click.
Plus you pretty much can run anything through the second channel, since bass amps are pretty universal. So if I want it can run my second electric bass, or an Upright, or an acoustic bass or guitar, key boards etc... Or just use the second channel for a second EQ option. I'm really digging this pedal.

I have one channel set up with a bit of dirt for my P-Basses and the other channel is set fairly clean. I have used the two channel head option, but it also depends on if / where your signal is fed to PA.
