west*coast*bass said:Maybe we in this TB community should start a call campaign. We can target those dealers and builders who flake out on one of our own.
Imagine how amazed Rick Turner would be if he had 50 phone calls a day from bass players rallying around one of our own.
The older I get the less tolerant I am of bad behaviour and flaky business dealings.
bassmonkeee said:That's called harrassment. You have no standing in this issue. Period. You are neither the buyer, nor the seller. Doing anything as "The TB community" like that will only result in Paul's butt getting in the fire, when he received cease and desist orders. You really want him to close TB down over someone else's bass?![]()
If you really want to start a calling campaign for something, why not do it over something a bit more noble, like the homeless, or starving kids?
I don't think the issue is whether helping is good or not. I think the issue is the method of help suggested.west*coast*bass said:So helping out someone who's money has basically been stolen is not noble?
Interesting... NEVER woulda' guessed. And maybe if more people were taken to task ... And just so you know, I own a company that helps non-profit groups raise money. What are you doing to help out the community?

Mr. Turner's Response:
I think my partner, Barry Pearlman, has taken care of that. One of the problems there is that we've put in a new computer system here, and it's filtered out a whole lot of email...correctly as well as incorrectly. It this guy had simply used the telephone...all would be well.
