I think he means Mr. Bear: MrBEAR (Please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong.)

I did not know him except through his postings (primarily in this thread, though I know he posted elsewhere), but I enjoyed reading about his zest for sound and a visceral playing experience. I, too, am sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to all who knew him.

Just to improve the mood, (mine anyway), I got a tracking number for the MAS28:). All the news about the suicide rate going up 25% in the U.S., and celebrities with the world by the tail checking out anyway, can drag a guy down. I bet Mr.Bear wanted to live, so strongly, but got dealt a bad hand. He proclaimed his survivor status I believe. I am gonna drink a beer in his honor at my next gig, and watch the ladies dancing with relish. Take compliments with appreciation and be thankful I am still above the grass! RIP Mr. Bear.

You're gonna love your M28. Sometime we should a/b it with my B28.

Hope that works. I was driving it with the little Kustom 500 watt micro, but it packs a big punch in a small package. Best part was all the dancers. One gal came up close on one number, and we sort of danced together. Later she yelled out,"I love your bass playing". Nice moment for and old hobby pocket player. I am am seriously looking forward to the MAS28 since I am on the long end of my 60's. It would have carried this room fine. One hand carry? Awesome!

Or place your b28 on the m28....yeah that's what I want to hear :hyper:

But honestly I've been playing both cabs lately in any venue but the smallest...the low notes really get support from the 18
....on a side note we upgraded mixers to a soundcraft ui24r so purchased a behringer inuke 6000 4 channel amp to run mains and monitor's ect...tried running bass out of aux to inuke channel and used that to power b28 so mixer would have control of bass volume live but through my actual rig...cool idea but that amp just doesn't get the solid bottom out of the cab like im used to....combined with the problems im having with the mm1000 not wanting to sound good for longer than an hour at over a 6 on the master volume...I think these (this?) cab just needs high quality power...I'm going to try a,quilter soon as mike had mentioned he liked that power section

Well my neighbor, (20 mins), Kesslari has the Bodai, but I am receiving a MAS28 as a small gig easy carry alternative to the 48. So we may need to have another GTG. Funny thing for me though was I thought I had the ultimate hammer of the gods rig with my Fender Superbassman atop the 48 at the GTG I organized back a couple years and not one participant ever plugged in LOL. Everyone of course was interested in the newest easy carry power house. I will keep the 48 as my 1st love but hope the 28 gets it done for the clubs I play. Outdoor parties the 48 hands down. Thunder 46 was great too. Thanks BIGE loudspeakers

Had a jam with a good Dead cover band last night. I play fretless and usually go for a pretty mid-forward tone. Last night I went for a more full, round Phil tone, and nailed it (the tone I was going for, not necessarily Phil's exact tone). The B28 sounded full and deep and LOUD and clear and punchy. Got several comments about how good the bass sounded.
