To GE Breivik (#985): The LMII was more than sufficient (gain and volume knobs under halfway, and I believe the passive J bass's volume knobs were usually not dimed). It was an outdoor gig, but please keep in mind we were deliberately playing softly so as not to disturb the delicate sensitivities of the shoppers. The MAS110 was as clear and as sweet as a well made bell.

After playing my main basses through the 45/110 over the last day I have broken myself in and can report that the cab sounds GREAT with totally flat EQ. I say broke *myself* in because at first I rolled back the treble on my amp. I wasn't used to the kind of presence the Ciare tweeter brings, it is truly remarkable. Full sparkle with no harshness, love it! The sub is a great match to the 45, adding full bottom that is very clear and very present with my Markbass F500 (300 watts into 8 ohms). I'm very pleased with the sound I'm getting with all these basses and also with Fuzz, overdrive and wilder effects like the Red Panda Particle.

I broke out the L2500 and the B string sounded great, no problem reproducing any low notes. Mike said it would even be possible to run another sub, now that would be amazing with a 5 string! But I'm having the most fun playing my 4 banger Sting Rays through this rig... I can't put them down which speaks volumes about the sound quality of this speaker stack. Big thumbs up to you Mike!
