impedence matching transformer was the answer I was looking for. Boom problem solved. Thanks guys. I got some real world experience by using YouTube and asking a techie of 35 years. Now I can finally use all the cabs I have available to me. Still might buy a 810, idk. But I am for sure using my 18s.

It actually is more about SPL than watts.
In one of my rehearsal rooms, my big rig resides. That is two aguilar GS212 cabs and a tonehammer 500 head.
This rig gets a lot louder than anything I ever need. And this rehearsal space is for the hardrock/metal practices.
I'm talking guitars so loud that the drummer has to mic the bassdrum and Hihat - and I plug my ears BEFORE even entering the place. This is the place where I turn the master all the way to twelve o'clock.
Turned past 2 o'clock I'm able to drown out the drummer.
This rig easily carries any venue with 400 people. And I mean I can dial in any sound I desire, turn up the bass to match FOH and have headroom to spare.
When I can't carry the room with that rig and there is insufficient PA support, the band will sound bad, no matter what.
The point I'm very slowly getting to is, that one needs proper cabs. Not a gazillion cheap'o ones plus a cheap head that puts out kilowatts, but one or two solid ones with a head that solidly delivers something around 500W. 8x10 or 4x12 with good SPL and you're set for anything short of Motörhead.
Once you run a head that has more than 350W output, it gets really hard increasing the volume by increasing the watts.

You gotta be trolling us, right?
To get your 1100w in bridge mode use two 8 ohm cabs rated at 550w-plus each or one 4 ohm cab rated at 1100w-plus. Want more speakers, more SPL? Use dual parallel mode and two 4ohm cabs rated at 225w-plus each for each channel — max power is 545w @ 2 ohms for each channel.
Cabs with these specifications are common.
Piere's Entertainment Center Fort Wayne? The band might want to dbl check with the venue.
Pretty sure it's not lack of the right equipment. It's a concert hall with major acts rolling through.
I can't see them not allowing a DI and requesting local openers to hall in a bunch of cabinets.
In fact, it's usually the other way around. Something you might want to look into.. Just saying.
He'll also be right by sweetwater so he can replace the blown cabs on his way home.
Not to worry.
The impedance matching transformer will prevent the two 18s, one 18+210, and one 412 cabinet from sustaining any damage.

Grasshopper, you are showing your inability to grasp the significance of your lack of understanding. You are also showing amazing arrogance for somebody with your lever of understanding and experience. This does not bode well for you and your gig, as you clearly have no idea what you are in for. Hopefully nobody hurts you the first time you open your mouth with such arrogance at the venue.

100 Class A watts from a Vox. That's like 300 in dog watts. I don't imagine in the early '60's amplifiers were overrated in the wattage arms race, either.
I have decided to quit giving JWH91 the business, and cut him some slack. He will eventually figure it out.
For myself I am saddened by my lack of ability to pass on valuable information. Him feeling like he’s been thrown to the wolves is pitiful. All I can do now is wish him good fortune with his gig and I hope he comes back to tell of his experience.

I've decided on a peavey 810tvx, the behringer is gone so it's all peavey now. Woot. The 810 will be here Tuesday.
Guys I know it's fun to pick on the new kid. But bullying is real, and now I'm all out of beer, I understand that I'm dumb when it comes to this cab business. This is my first bass rig I've ever tried to put together. I don't even know what FOH means guys. All I know is I'm getting $250 that night to have some fun and party so I at least wanna sound good doing it.

It'll be hard to break my .170 , it's the only string I use. The other 4 are just for show
I have 2 1/4 jacks per core, he means to use each jack per cab right? Just want to make sure to safely get that 2 ohm @ 545w
