That's not unreasonable for a limited edition Ric. Personally I wouldn't pay anywhere near that for a Ric because I'm not a fan of the bass. I wouldn't even pay the going price for a run-of-the-mill Ric. But that's just me. The 75th Anniversary may increase in worth over time, so as an "investment" it may make sense (if you can wait like 50 years for it to increase in value to where you'll make some money on it).
