Biking '10 part 2

I've rode my defy for 110~ km in one sitting and I did not felt much discomfort either It's mainly that the top tube is longer which creates a more relaxed geometry.

You mean head tube? ;) - Longer top tube will just stretch you out more. Personally I think how "relaxed" and twichy the bike is has more to do with tube angles more than tube lengths. YMMV.

I wouldn't mind a Cervelo, or a Pina~, or a Bianchi, or a scott, or....

:p

I want a good bike dammit!

Trust me, as I own a few Bianchi, Cervelo in general and Scott's ~790g frames (with integrated seat post!!!) blow my mind. Then throw in the ultra premiums like Look, Time, etc, and I rationalize that I should just keep my Bianchi blinders on. :D There's always something slightly better.

The traveltrac, performance homebrand stuff fluid. I installed my bike on it and hum, it burns my tire lol, stopped after just like 5-10mins when my mom told me it was smelling hot/burnt rubber and my back tire was hot, could tell it was using it way more then regular riding, I have a trainer tire on order but wanted to try it ya know' :p

Correct tire pressure and contact? Even when I'm hitting it hard and for long periods of time, I've never smelled burning rubber. I would suspect a trainer tire might do the same thing.

I''l check the pressure as for contact it seems ok?

Oh and how about a R5ca spade, it's even lighter then the scott!

You should be running at full pressure ~100PSI or however your tires are rated. Lower tire pressure will cause a lot of friction and flex.

For the resistance unit, once you're at the correct tire pressure, you want it just tight so when you accelerate the tire doesn't slip. Overtightening puts lots of pressure on the tire and rim.
