RIP Bill. I have been using his pickups for 33 years now.

When I was in the Air Force, around 1980-81, I got orders to go to Clark A.F.B. in the Phillipines. I knew I'd want a guitar I could play anywhere,(to go with my Electric Bass.) I found a epiphone Acoustic Guitar, and it had a wonderful passive Bartolini pickup in the sound hole. I loved that pickup!!! Been a fan ever since.

RIP, Mr. Bartolini. I’ve been playing bass for a long time, but never had a bass with Bartolinis in it. Fast forward to earlier this year when I got a 1993 Gibson LPB2 deluxe bass. Great sound with TCT pre and pickups! I am thinking of dropping some Bartolini pickups and preamps into some of my other basses. Prayers to his family. He will be missed.
