Bioshock/System Shock 3

I downloaded the Bioshock demo for 360 yesterday and.....holy cow. I need this game. I'll probably pick up a copy later today.

To me, the demo gives off the impression that it's one of those games you enjoy for it's story and creepy vibes, not just the FPS action itself.

For those who've played both... How does it stack up against System Shock 2?

very hard for me to but a judge on them, something was just really creepy and messed up about System Shock 2. I'd say this is the System Shock 2 of this generation though. The story is top-notch the Diary entries (like the journal entries you picked up through out the game) add so much depth and story. Really if you liked SS2 get Bioshock all the best similarities are there but still keeps the game original.

My 15-yr-old got it yesterday. He's sitting next to me playing it, right now. Lots of gunfire, explosions, blood & guts, weird characters with funny voices, nasty slugs that you pull out of little kids, a narrator voice from an old-timey radio show. Something for everyone!
A few minutes ago, he was smacking himself upside the head. He was dissatisfied with his play. That's entertainment! *sigh*

What's so fun about the game ?

I'm walking, next thing I know my health bar is half full 'cause the guy shot me once or the guy is 83193 miles away from me and he jumps (those 83193 miles) and hits me once and get's my health bar half full... yeah..... what about the fact that I can't find ammo either..

maybe i just need to get further ?
