Acoustic Image is introducing Series IIa (the most recent model was Series II) this month. So what's the diff, Bob??
As you can see from the comparison photograph, the head is now recessed into the speaker cabinet. This reduces the cabinet height by approximately 2.5 inches, and the weight by just about one pound. The amplifier section is identical except for its location. (It is no longer independent and removable from the combo cabinet.) The Series IIa combos (Contras and Codas) will go up in price as well, less than 10% across the board. I've posted them on the updated Link Removed on my web site.
