do you guys have or want a bass that was made the same year you were born? if so what model/ brand? i would want a white 2003 mim p bass
Based on posts I have read, I have always assumed there were a good number of 6 year olds on the site.
I LOVE that size of Fender logo font from that era and wonder why they stopped using it.I had this 1976 "birth year" Precision. Bought it for less than a used MIM Standard and traded it for a really nice Gibson AJ acoustic and have zero regrets. Bass was ridiculously clean, hardly any fret wear, sounded great, played great but weighed 10lbs and I have other Precisions that weigh much less that sound as good or better. Only thing I do miss is the cool headstock logo because it had the larger logo that Fender used in the 70, not the smaller font that they switched to in the later 70's.
