oh man that finish looks stunningI had this 1976 "birth year" Precision. Bought it for peanuts and traded it for a really nice Gibson AJ acoustic and have zero regrets. Bass was ridiculously clean, sounded great, played great but weighed 10lbs and I have other Precisions that weigh much less that sound as good. Only thing I do miss is the cool headstock logo because it had the larger logo that Fender used in the 70, not the smaller font that they switched to in the later 70's.

yes 2003, isnt that jarring2003!
i'd never even heard of that before but damn that thing is badassA thread like this came up a couple of years ago, I looked up what was available in September of 1949, which was only the AudioVox Tutmarc Serenader bass, the first solid body electric bass created (Fender a few years alter took it a big step further with his Precision design). The AudioVox was only a collectors item, so I decided to mod a Rondo Hadean solid body 24 inch scale bass uke as a tribute to it.
