Bit o' Survey...for science.

Used to work for the company that made Bit-O-Honey back in the day. Access to all the free stuff I wanted. The trick is to put the BOH on the dashboard of your card and let it sit there a few minutes. Softens up nicely, easy to open and easy to chew.
Call me weird, but the peppermint is my favorite in the bag.

I’m diabetic. I’d probably like the stuff, but as my body turns sugar into poison, it’s a theoretical (not practical) question.

They're nice. I don't think they taste much like honey, but they're a decent candy. I like them a lot better than the cinnamon fireballs at least.
These days when I get a candy bag from Sweetwater I tend to toss it in my gig bag, I figure it never hurts to have a little sugar boost on hand in case of emergency (drummer is diabetic).

When I was a kid on Halloween, the three wrappers I dreaded seeing were Bit O' Honey, the blank black wrappers of those "peanut butter" taffy candies, and the blank orange wrappers of those same "peanut butter" taffy candies.

They take me back to Halloween c 1966 but then they disappeared. Necco was local, maybe they did it. (Necco's gone now to) Give me a Payday these days, it has protein and salt to balance the sugar-poison.
I never buy 'em but will do a freebie. Hate it when the wrapper is completely welded to the candy.

I was wearing a lab coat and under the influence of chemicals when I methodically constructed the survey. Therefore, I was using "scientific" methods. There is nothing more science-y than that, short of actual, legitimate research.
I like them okay. You guys might get a kick out of this site. When I'm in a pinch and can't think of a gift for someone, a gift card from here usually solves the problem. My Dad loves this site!
