We are very much having this conversation. The singer and I are absolute fiends for the first 6 records, and the guitarist is discovering the band for the first time somehow. I'm open to some later stuff, but only after we've got all the oldies down.Sounds like a lot of fun. I've just been able to get my drums out of storage for about three years and I like a lot of the music of R.E.M. but I'd certainly always want to do some of the music after IRS no matter what capacity in a band. I think there's a lot of diversity of styles, moods, feels, etc... and I think there's a lot of public/popular recognition for that music. Can't have an R.E.M. show and not do "It's the End of the World and We Know It" and other hits!!!
