It's your bass, of course, but I think the white ones look great.

Here's an off-the-wall idea: Check out this company. Their specialty is custom pickguards, but I saw this photo on their site. It looks like it's just the top plate and not the whole cover, but that's kind of cool in itself, IMO.

They can probably do it with their other materials too, of which there's quite a selection. (How about mirror chrome?!)

Well, since DiMarzio do the Ultra Jazz in black, you must be able to buy replacement shells for them - try DiMarzio.com
