Black Bass Pickguard Color

To complete my new bass collection I've decided on the Yamaha BB1025X. Everything I have heard about it gives me full-body GAS.

The first (and perhaps only) order of business is to replace the pickguard with something with more color. I've looked at red tort and blue or red glitter...

i would say tort, but now looking at it, mirror would look cool, if youre into that kinda thing

Have you looked at the "black basses" thread here? There are a lot of black basses, with a lot of differently colored pickguards on them shown in that thread. It might give you some ideas what you might like.

Just curious, are you having it custom made, or is someone making these now? I ask because I have a a 424X in burst, and I'd love a tort pick guard for it!
