so ive been looking at the black ice capaciter on stew mac forever and i wanna know if anyone can tell me if the 9.6 ohmz on my emg hzs will cut it,from experience,thanx for helping before hand
Don't waste your money. Really. Instead, use two Schottky diodes - available for pennies from your local electronics supply house - wired in reverse in place of the BI. The lowest-value diodes provide the best crunch.
If you wanna get really fancy, use a push-pull pot with your tone cap and the Schottky's.
To be honest, though, it tends to sound like a pile of crap.
