Black Tuners or not....

Yes, of course....they go with the bass....like these:

And yes, black hardware can be VERY nice and not look cheap...here's the black Guild bridge on that same bass. Note that the strings are black Fender tapewounds.

And Pilgrim is illustrating my point. Notice how the black knobs stand off because of the contrast with the red on the body? That is nice! And even the tuner posts are contrasting the red in the headstock.

Contrast is what sets black off, and it is more important to consider for black hardware than when you have chrome because there are very, very few times when the body or pickguard do NOT provide contrast with chrome.
