Blahhh stupid girls

Ive been in a relationship with a girl coming up on 6th months. Things got say too serious, way too fast. And I really want to be out of it. I cant do it anymore its a freaking emotional rollercoaster, each day changing directions. I dont know how to do it. And Im really afraid of what she might do if I do break up with her. She has never said anything suicidal but I know she used to cut herself (emo jokes aside please) and really dont know what to do. I love her but cant do it anymore. I just decided I cant deal with it anymore. How should I tell her? :hmm:

If you love her, tell her how you feel. Tell her you think things have been going too fast for you and you just need to take it slow for a little bit.

WRONG! Don't tell her you love her if you're interested in dumping her. Tell her you don't like the way the relationship is going, and you're not her boyfriend anymore. That's a good ice breaker.

I meant how he feels about how the relationship is going, not about the love bit. It seems to me he is giving up at the first sign of trouble instead of trying to work things out. By telling her the relationship is going too fast and he wants to slow it down, maybe things will work out. It also end up being a less harsh way of putting it if he does break up with her.

I say club her in the back of the head and leave her locked in the bathroom. I'm sure it'll make the breakup easier, infact, I think that she'll do the breaking up for you.

PS IMO & IME, don't use anything too heavy if you're not angry with her. Accidents happen...:atoz:

You must have missed the parts where the OP said, " ... I really want to be out of it" and, "I can't do it any more ..." and, "I can't deal with it anymore." All of that caring and slow down stuff just gives her hope to keep clinging. He wants to break up with her.

So just break up with her. She's not going to like it at all, but you'll save yourself weeks or months of whining if you don't give her any reason to believe the relationship can be resurrected. Get it over with ASAP.

Man up and break up with her. Do you really still love her? My guess is no. Any time I decided to break up with a chick I really 'cared about' I got over it pretty quickly. That's when you say you're going to be friends, but never call her again (more often than not).
