Blem sales?????

American Musical sells B-Stock all of the time and I can barely tell a difference from floor model stuff that people have tried out. I think of it as getting a floor model item at GC and not fresh out of the box. Nothing has ever come to me with missing parts or anything.
I purchased both my 810's & a road warrior case from Carvin. One of the 810's was a blem, the other was a demo.
The demo has a dent in the metal grill & the carpet look like was moved around a bit, but looks close to new.
The one with blems had a couple small bits of paint chipped off the metal grill & that's it, other wise brand new.
The road warrior has a couple dents in the metal corners & side reinforcement, again nothing major.
All in all well worth the discounts I got.

I bought a blem GS112NT from MF last winter. I looked real hard, but I couldn't find a blemish on the cab, although it looked like the box was re-taped.
My guess is that many "blems" MF sells are customer returns, and since the item isn't factory sealed, they sell it at discount. Get what you want, if you don't like it, they're liberal with their return policy.

I'd buy a blem in a heartbeat!

I bought an Ibanez SRX390 that was a blemish. The only thing wrong with it was the paint. It was supposed to be a translucent black but it was painted real light where you could see the grain through the paint. Actually it made it look cool.
MF have a good return policy - albeit on a blem it is at your own cost. Having personally used this I can say it is very easy to do.
Debating whether or not to buy a blem Fender 250/210 Bassman combo blem on MF. After shipping, it'll be about $500, compared to $629 + shipping. Good idea?

I bought a blem Fender Deluxe V from MF, and the only thing wrong with it was a small ding in the tip of the headstock.
Just returned a blem Highway One Jazz. Bridge pickup didn't work. They did send a tag for the return shipping.
I bought a bass from MF. It was a scratch and dent but it was in perfect shape. I just figured it was a return and they couldnt sell it for new. I'm not sure about blems but scratch and dent are returnable. 45 days I believe.
I bought a blem midi-keyboard from MF and I couldn't be happier. It didn't come with the driver cd but I could DL it anyways.
Got an Ashdown 2x10 extension cab from American Music and darned if I can tell why it was 75 bucks less than A stock... WOOHOO!.
