I had a slightly modified one made, but it works beautifully. Great service, and top notch product. if you have one modified with another footswitch to go straight effects, you have basically an X-Blender for a much cheaper price (that's how mine was modded).

thank you all!!!

looks like barge concepts will be the way to go. i just couldn't see myself spending more than 200 bucks on something like this... that's alot o' ducats!!!

higgie, you've led me right before (af9:))... how much did your modded one end up costing you? i know you're in the uk.... an estimate would be fine. or you could tell me in lbs and i'll estimate. :) and if i understand correctly, if you turn the clean blend knob all the way clockwise, you get all effects, and all the way counter-clockwise, you get all clean signal... your modded one allows you to pick between the two signal paths (all clean or all effects)... does the clean blend knob work on both signal paths, or just one?

definitely a shame about mr. loooper... i hope he gets better soon!

It came to $179 including Global Priority shipping to the UK.

Basically, it is a 3 footswitch version.

You have the knob and Footswitch for the feedback loop. The knob determines how much of the Feedback is blended with the effected sound.

A knob that determines how much clean is blended with the loop, and a switch to bypass the loop.

Now the modification I had done, all it does, is bypass the blend pot. Nothing fancy, just bypasses, so I get straight effects.

There isn't one all clean, and one all wet, its just that I have the amount of clean I want blended in, but I can take that clean out with another footswitch instead of having to rotate the knob with my foot.

Don't hesitate to PM if you need any more info ;)

Cheers,
James.

Edit: It's the big [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] next to the Red Wobo Pedal. I know it's big, but it was the only way to have 3 footswitches. I was originally gonna ditch the Feedback Loop, but decided I still wanted it. So if feedback looping isn't your thing, you could have a footswitch for bypassing the blend pot like mine, in a box the size of a Punch Factory! If size isn't a problem though, I would definitely go 3 footswitch style..The Feedback loop is crazy!

i think it'll be either the bargeconcepts or the radial bigshot mix... my only issue with the big shot's specs is that the mix level is on the top of the unit (ie, next to the effects loop jacks). i would rather have the option of changing the blend with a knob on the face of the unit.

but the bigshot is quite small.... and radial's quality is impressive (though i hear the same about bargeconcepts).

i'll let you all know! thanks for all the help. if there are more suggestions we all don't know about, let us (me) know!

:)
