Call Hartke parts dept and order one. Should be posted on their website.Larry, if you read this, would you please put me onto the best way to get a replacement? Seems the folks around here don't want to mess with getting one for me...thanks.
jim
Good...but gotta find something quick or I'll have to lug the fridge around!!

The speaker is a 6 ohm. I'm looking at an 8 ohm replacement, which I believe will just reduce my output, although I'm no electrical whizz. Hopefully it can at least get me thru the week or two until I can get the correct speaker. The replacement needs to match what’s in the box already, which will also be appropriate for the box.
I got no response from a text to that number.Did you try to call Larry's cell number in his post? (#6) Wondering if it actually still works....
...didn't you actually mean the reverse of that Andy or did a I miss something from a previous post?If it’s a 6 ohm speaker then the only mathematical options are 3 ohms (parallel) and 12 ohms (series).
What a disappointing response from what I used to think was a good company. The least they could have done was offered some suggestions on available replacements from other manufacturers. Your request can't possibly be the first one they ever got about this problem. I would think a few hours work from one of their engineers could produce one or two reasonable non-Hartke replacement options. Finally received an email today that the speaker I need is no longer made, and the new 12" does not fit the cab. They had no suggested replacement.
Moving on from hartke. Maybe markbass.
