I have owned a pair of EA Vl110 cans for many years now. While, they stopped being part of main rig a few years back they have never had any problems.

i've had to use them recently though. Was very surprised that the driver in one of the cabinets seems to be blown. I stored them in my attic for a few months with the temperature fluctuated wildly. I'm wondering if that could be contributed?

No matter the cause, I would love to get it fixed. Does anyone know if these speakers can be re-coned ? If so, by whom?

AFAIK there is no source for new factory drivers or recone kits.

As you probably know, EA is gone.

AFAIK the drivers were custom made by Eminence to EA's specs. The normal arrangement is OEM drivers and recone kits are only available to the company they are designed/made for.

Years ago TB members worked out some sort of arrangement and did group buys. I don't remember if this was to buy replacement drivers are recone kits. AFAIK, at some point the group buys became untenable because the minimum order was increased significantly.
