I was fortunate to have visited the Roscoe shop before the build began. Had spoken with Gard about what I was looking to do and he had a dozen or so top pieces picked out for me to chose from. Initially, I was keen on darker pieces, but Gard pointed out that though the darker pieces would look great with a natural finish, the detail would be lost with the Cobalt blue finish. This is how it started out:
