I had a 1990 Stingray 5 in the Steve More Translucent Blueburst. It was a great bass... lightweight poplar body... loved the three-way switching options so much I worked the design into the above-shown Valenti.

Thats a sweet one! My first ever music clinic - Steve Morse. Only 12 of us there, early 80s. He was still playing the Franken-Tele, at least at the clinic. Still a huge dregs fan. I have all the original Capricorn records releases.
So… I’ve refinn’d / ‘assembled’ 3 in Sonic Blue - have actually sold them - as they didn’t turn out to be what I was looking for

Versatile! Was it a P-J? Does that Nordy(?) MM pickup work there? What are the switches and did you have to route for the preamp??

My Lakland 55-94D, loaded with Barts. An early one, made in May 1997 and came to me in 2003. Fabulous bass to play, full, fat tone, great neck. I played this bass for nearly 14 years.
Of course I use the trem. It's great with fuzz/distortion or with funk fingers:
or some snapping and popping for that "Seinfeld" effect.
OK talk to me about the electronics on this awesome looking bass. That has me all over it.
