I have owned 3 blue guitars, but never a blue bass. However, that may have changed, depending on how loose the jury is with a 'blue' bass.
Perhaps my bass can identify as blue..?
I recently got this 84 Foundation. When I opened it up, there is clearly evidence of an overspray from an original '62 Blue' finish. The black top layer of paint is certainly factory--it matches several black Peaveys I have from the same era.
This is that same color on an '89 Peavey Generation I used to have.
Either way, there have been some real lookers on this thread!
