Blues eludes me..help with some tabs

The original live version of This is Love by Van Halen
has all sorts of additives akin to walkin blues 'with an attitude'...a skill Ive never taught myself or researched.

Anyone have the tab for the live version or feel like writing this out.

I knew I was gonna get smacked... but in all seriousness...what he does to elaborate around the root is not too far from blues is it .

Fast Shuffle. Bass mostly on root, yes. On the bass, I hear assorted minor (16th note triplet) and later major pentatonic licks (mostly quarters or swung 8ths). Listen to them. Sing them. Play them.

Then go listen to Willie Dixon. Wait, just skip to that last step.
