Well done! "Geary Gary" reminded me of this gem by the Memphis duo The Funn Brothers back in the early '90s. Harp player extraordinaire Lyn Jones wrote this little satire song. At that time, the Germantown suburb of Memphis was where THE rich folks lived. So Lyn wrote "Germantown Blues" about how it might be when rich people get the blues. This is just a short snippet of the song, but you get the idea...

A very good friend and former band mate of mine (ironically named Gary) is a guitar player who now runs blues jams in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, couldn't be further from this stereotype. He is a SUPER nice guy with absolutely zero ego. He loves playing music with others, will always call on others to solo first and more often, gives his band mates top billing ALWAYS and never over plays. He's just a great guy. Also had a sax player named Jim, he was also very cool.

When BB King donated his record collection to the delta blues archives in CLarksdale, it contained some Jimi Hendrix albums. When they asked why Hendrix, him not being a delta blues man and all. BB replied that Jimi was in fact a delta blues man, his delta just happened to be on Mars.

Red House shatched me from bubble gum before Herman's Hermits and Paul Revere and the Raiders could complete my transformation from the country I was raised on. I am forever grateful.
